Gina is the best! She is fun, engaging, and a real pleasure to work with. As a fellow music teacher I often find myself impressed and inspired by her ability to clearly communicate “what to do and how to do it.” She provides a relaxed, safe atmosphere at her studio and it’s obvious that she really cares about her students. My daughter and I have taken voice lessons from Gina for a couple of years and are so impressed with her ability to bring out the best voice you have for any type of performance, and to help you find a voice you didn’t know you had! She is incredible as a teacher for both adults and young aspiring singers; always positive and encouraging, and she knows how to tailor your style for whatever genre you are studying. She can teach blocking, acting and stage presence as it relates to vocal performance as well so that you are completely prepared for an audition. I wish words could capture how intricate of a process it is to tune a voice, and more importantly how difficult it is to guide someone in the journey of finding their voice. But Gina has the ability; nay, the gift of taking decades of insight and technique and applying it to each student's individual needs in a way that doesn't leave them overwhelmed. It is been more than a year since I start taking vocal classes with Gina Latimerlo. She is very professional in her teaching of different styles of singing, pop in my case.
